Now this should brighten any room! And, yes, there surely are a lot of petals - not much I could do about that! And while that also means a lot of points - they really are not that difficult - and if they don't turn out so sharp - no worries!! I think this would be a great small wallhanging for your sunroom - just add maybe a narrow green inner border and then another with the perfect sunflower fabric - pieced or not??? This yellow with a touch of orange here and there to allow for fussy cutting to get some orange near the center. I found a pefect fabric for the center so chose not to add the ton of beads I had planned - you may want to do that if you love playing with beads. ^_^ Oh, and I chose a batik for the leaves - they also have some (inside)points. It would be just fine to round those if you want/need to.
As for size - as shown, it would be 18.5" finished - I put a 19" square in the kit. The circle is 12" diameter. The background is blue because the picture I used had a lovely bright blue sky behind the flower. The overlay is a textured, pale green.
