This jacket is very similar to the reversible one - however, it is not 'lined' and therefore, not reversible. And the sleeve is a different shape, a bit fuller - and has elastic rather than a cuff. You could use most any fabric, certainly don't have to use flannel. You finish all the seams, an easy way that looks like "flatfelled" (hmm, is it one or two words?). You use 5/8" seams and that makes it easy to open the seams and turn under the seam allowance and use your 1/4" foot to stitch them down. They look topstitched on the right side and the inside of your jacket stays nice and neat!
